I went on an amazing photo workshop in Iceland last month, led by two great photographers and teachers, Richard Bernabe and Joe Rossbach. The full workshop group had a fantastic time, and each of us now has a great set of new friends.
This waterfall, Brúarárfoss (foss = falls), which Richard had scoped out last year, was my favorite. It’s not too far from Geysir (which we also visited), but it is isolated and hard to find. It took a bit of doing to (re)find it, but the effort (and Richard’s persistence) paid off — it’s nothing short of breathtaking! The group spent a good while at the falls, experimenting with different angles and views. (With some of us experiencing icy-cold feed standing in the water!) Well worth every minute we spent there! I hope to get back sometime.
